"Here is the recipe for Caroline Wachsmuth's (Editor's note: the creator of Doux Me) favorite bath blend: maximum relaxation, serenity, and happiness guaranteed!
Ingredients
- Avocado oil (persea gratissima oil)
Avocado oil is rich in vitamins A, C, D, E, and K, and lecithin. It is thick and particularly suitable for very dry and mature skin.
- 5 drops of lavender essential oil (lavandula officinalis)
"Cleanses" and soothes the mind, relieving it of all forms of anger, calms the central nervous system
- 5 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil (anthemis nobilis)
Powerful relaxant, brings peace of mind
- 5 drops of geranium essential oil (pelargonium graveolens)
Tones the nervous system and dispels anxiety
- 5 drops of orange blossom essential oil (citrus aurantium)
Soothes emotional stress and anxiety
Creating your blend
Pour 50 ml of vegetable oil into a 100 ml bottle and add the essential oils. Shake well and pour the mixture into the water after filling the bathtub with hot or even lukewarm water. Stir the water well so that the mixture is homogeneous.
Tips
Stay in the bath for a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes and breathe deeply. Rinse with cool water. Your skin will still be infused with avocado oil when you get out of the bath; you can rub it in by massaging your body before snuggling into your bathrobe and relaxing for a while longer. Ideal before bedtime for a most restorative night's sleep."
