Argan oil is one of the ancestral beauty recipes of Mediterranean women, particularly Berber women. This oil, derived from the argan tree, is obtained using traditional methods, and this know-how is passed down from generation to generation.
The kernels of the argan tree are harvested by hand, then the women depulp them to extract the kernels, which are then crushed and ground mechanically by a mill, and the oil is cold-pressed to preserve all its nutritional and organoleptic qualities.
It is therefore the ideal ally for all skin types, both for face and body care. Its content of omega 3, 6, and 9 makes it both a moisturizing and nourishing oil. It has anti-aging properties and is also a very interesting oil for hair, especially textured hair (wavy, curly, frizzy, or kinky).
The benefits of body exfoliation
Exfoliation is important for taking care of your skin. In winter, it helps the skin remain toned despite wearing warm clothing and the friction it causes.
While body exfoliation in summer helps prolong your tan beyond the holidays.
By exfoliating your skin, your skin is rid of dead cells that are responsible for a dull complexion. In fact, by exfoliating weekly, you tone your skin by activating blood circulation and promoting cell renewal.
Your skin will thus be firmer, more radiant, and ready to receive your essential moisturizing care after an exfoliation!
Homemade body scrub with salt & argan
In a bowl, mix:
- 2 tablespoons organic cold-pressed argan oil
- 2 tablespoons natural coarse sea salt
- 1 g cinnamon
- 1 g dried orange peel (use an untreated orange)
Once the ingredients are well mixed, rub the body with this preparation to remove dead skin cells. Pay special attention to rough areas. Then rinse and dry your body with a soft cloth.
If necessary, massage in a little argan oil that you have previously warmed between your hands. Your skin will be sublimated with this homemade body scrub!
