Our bodies need to recharge, and we need pampering care to feel good and take care of ourselves! In this article, we share a slimming massage oil recipe.
Natural slimming massage oil recipe to make yourself
The action of the massage will decongest and drain your skin for an anti-cellulite and anti-dimple effect.
For your self-massage, do not hesitate to rub your hands together to warm them up. Also, the room should be at ambient temperature. The active ingredients will penetrate even more effectively, not to mention the pleasure provided by the warmth of the oil!
I recommend making your oil in a 50 ml bottle. Fill with sesame oil and add citrus essential oils. For my part, I added vanilla essential oil for a sweet and warm touch! The essential oils should not exceed 30 drops.
For example:
- 13 drops of citrus EO
- 5 drops of noble laurel EO
- 7 drops of cypress EO
- and 5 drops of vanilla extract

Very rich in linoleic and oleic acid and vitamin E, it is moisturizing even for very dry skin. I particularly like its velvety and semi-thick texture, and its slightly toasted smell – I love it!
Highly prized in Ayurvedic medicine, this oil softens, moisturizes, and leaves a fluid veil on the skin. You can use it on the whole body; it regulates the scalp (dandruff, oily hair) and strengthens nails. It is also said to be excellent for dark thoughts.
Slimming essential oils: citrus and others organic
Lemon essential oil: decongestant action in cases of water retention with slowed venous circulation (it stimulates small blood vessels).
Grapefruit EO: a valuable ally for firming the skin and getting rid of orange peel skin.
Bergamot EO: ideal for smoothing the skin and forgetting its unsightly orange peel skin.
Italian Helichrysum (or Immortelle): helps to break down fats and eliminate orange peel skin.
Mandarin EO: like all citrus essential oils, mandarin essential oil helps to absorb fats in the cutaneous adipose tissue and contributes to the elimination of water retention.
Rosewood EO: in addition to enveloping you in its delicate, rose-like fragrance, rosewood essential oil firms and regenerates skin tissues. It reduces wrinkles and brightens the complexion.
Some other slimming essential oils:
Juniper EO: favored in slimming diets thanks to its decongestant and draining properties, it is perfect for eliminating water retention.
Rose Geranium EO: helps to dislodge fat reserves and orange peel skin.
Cypress EO: very useful in case of tissue swelling as it helps to eliminate water retention which is accompanied by the sensation of heavy legs. Indeed, it is an excellent venous tonic.
Please note that essential oils should never be used neat. They should always be diluted in vegetable oils. Be careful with dark and mixed-race skin, which is particularly photosensitive with citrus EOs.
